Statement

Although trained in textiles my work is diverse as based on an interest in fine art and installation. The combination of  digital and handmade and natural  dyes are important  feature of my practice as well as the materials the fabric chosen and the processes that evolve.

Professional experience

Experience has included invigilating exhibitions at the Barbican.  Competitions include runner up ‘Migraine Images’, MOMA, as part of an Arts Management course assisted in organizing an exhibition of arts education based at Waterford's Art Centre. Worked at Action Space and exhibited in Covent Garden and City Lit Illustrators. Features include Women’s hour BBC Radio 4, published work in Spare Rib, The Ecology Magazine, She Magazine, Prisma greeting cards, Brixton Artists Collective, local newspaper articles. The Cosmic arcana and The Women’s Artists slide library catalogue ‘The Art of Birth’   2021 calendar Louth Riverhead theatre supported by the Arts council England, Dwell time Lockdown Blues publication.2021.
